Catalogue published to accompany the exhibition of the same name at the Galerie Grässlin-Erhardt in Frankfurt from 13 October to 24 November 1990, with a text by Merlin Carpenter (“Is He Master of Puppets?”) in English.
“In Frankfurt I am showing bronzes derived from lamp sculpture, but without lamps, along with a catalogue that gives the outward impression of a large, expensive wine list. Through the memory of lamps to the question of classical sculpture. That is the idea. The exhibition is a commentary on this process.”
In addition to the bronzes mentioned above, which are shown on the cover, the inside covers show toilet rugs issued by Martin Kippenberger as an edition. The text by Merlin Carpenter is inserted into the cover and attached by a cord.
