The blue variant of this postcard was disseminated by Ulises Carrión in conjunction with his exhibition ‘Definitions of Art’, presented at Other Books and So in March 1977. Participants were invited to inscribe their own definitions of art on the verso. In total, Carrión received 367 responses, including contributions from Michael Snow, Dorothy Iannone, Herman de Vries, Hervé Fischer, Genesis P. Orridge, Robert Filliou, Martha Wilson, John Baldessari, Jackson Mac Low, Carolee Schneemann, and Ben Vautier, among others.
