‘Les rues’ reproduces one of the sketchbooks created by the Lausanne-based artist Môh Dramane Cissé Ibrahim. Since 2007, he has been making these notebooks himself using papers gathered here and there. In total, the artist has created around fifty of these books. They contain texts or drawings made with various techniques — sometimes painted, sometimes simply done with a Bic pen. The themes range from international migration policies to questions of equality, as well as personal stories and anything that captures his attention at the moment. To make this booklet, Cissé was supported by his friends Simon Dubois and Guy Meldem.
