£1,000[Sold]

Issue number one of the seminal Brazilian magazine ‘Ponto’ edited by Wlademir Dias-Pino. The magazine was published in 1967 and inaugurated the short lived Brazilian visual and concrete poetry movement ‘Poema / Processo’ (Poem / Process, 1967-1972).

Featuring contributions by eleven artists: Wladimir Dias-Pino, Alvaro de Sá, Moacy Cirne, Neide Dias de Sá, Anselmo Santos, George Smith, Ariel Tacla, José Serafini, Nei Leandro de Castro, Dailos Varela and Anchieta Fernandes.

Produced during the military dictatorship, with strong criticisms of the government, the works were produced underground, due to their highly political content, at Rua Almirante Alexandrino in Santa Teresa (Rio de Janerio). The various loose sheets and brochures are inserted in a case.
