Originally published in French in the magazine ‘Ou’ in 1966, this is the first English translation of the second book of Chopin’s trilogy about the end of dictature by Jean Ratcliffe, his wife. It was published by Stefan and Franciszka Themerson, founder of the Gaberbocchus Press, London. The first book of the trilogy is ‘Le Hommard Cosmographique’, 1965 and the third one is ‘La Crevette Amoureuse’, 1967.
